Available for full-time care beginning September 28th. Until then, I'm accepting occasional care, including date nights, afternoons, appointments, weekends, and backup care. Hi! I'm Maya, a 27-year-old pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Before becoming a COTA, I worked as a Behavioral Therapist in ABA, where I supported children with a variety of developmental and behavioral needs and assisted with potty training. I've been caring for children since I was 13 after completing a babysitting course at Chesapeake Regional, and I have experience with children ranging from 3 months to 26+ years old. I truly love working with kids and creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for every family I work with! Patience is vital when working with children, and I take pride in ensuring every child is comfortable. Being able to adapt to any environment very quickly and completing tasks in a timely manner is a strength of mine.

Maya was wonderful with our three kids! She was attentive, kind, and so much fun, keeping all three of them engaged and happy throughout the day.
