About Maya

Hi! I'm a medical school graduate and currently practicing Pediatrics as a resident. I have experience with education as a former High School Biology Teacher. My passion has always been about educating and supporting our country's youth. My first experience with any type of childcare was in my own family, where I primarily cared for my two younger siblings. I have babysat, for most of my life, children from newborn to 14 years, including multiples. I have privately tutored school-aged children and young adults (5 y. o.- 22 y. o.) in a multitude of subjects including Literacy, English, Art, Mathematics, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physiology, Cell Biology, and Genetics. My experience with differently-abled children is limited to a few years caring for children with Autism and ADHD, but I'm happy to learn all need requirements. I am CPR and ACLS certified. Pets are welcome, light housekeeping and meal preparation can be provided. Please let me know if you have any questions!
