About Maya

Hi, I'm Maya! I've been working with kids basically my whole life ! I started babysitting around age 10 and honestly never looked back. Over the years that turned into teaching Pre-K, spending over 3 years as an au pair in Paris, and really falling in love with early childhood. I'm bilingual in English and French, which has been such a fun way to weave a little extra learning into everyday moments. I'm warm, energetic, and a little silly; I think kids should laugh a lot and feel really safe and seen. My approach is all about building confidence, keeping things creative, and staying patient even on the hard days. I'm the eldest of 6 kids, so caring for children has truly always been in my DNA - I'm looking for a family I can genuinely connect with and be a consistent, caring presence for their kids, not just a babysitter, but someone they actually look forward to spending time with !
