After I finish my undergrad my goal is to get my masters in counseling. I have babysat for many families over the past 4 years and I worked as an assistant teacher at First Baptist Dayschool for a year and a half. I am comfortable with infants- school aged children. I spoke with Matilda a month before I needed her to provide care for my child. I interviewed her over the phone and then a few weeks later she came and met my family. A week later she was supposed to start working for me, a full time nanny position where we had discussed hours and pay rate and TWO hours before she was needed, she text saying she was not "feeling well" to which I responded by calling her TWICE with no answer followed by a text. She responded only via text saying her stomach hurt with no other explanation. She is EXTREMELY unprofessional and I would never recommend her. She has really put me and my family in a bind and I would stay clear from her!
