Hi! I'm Mac. I'm in my mid 30s and I've been living in the Seacoast area for about 10 years. Over the years I have worked as a nanny, tutor, camp counselor, Girl Scout leader and community college teacher. Through these positions I've gained a wide variety of experience working with kids across the age spectrum in a variety of contexts. I am passionate about education and working with kids (including teens) because they view the world with such creativity and curiosity. After working as an Instructional Designer for the past half decade, I recently decided to try something new and have been running a micro-bakery from my house part time. The flexible schedule has put me in a position to return to working in childcare, which is really exciting! I love to read, kayak, craft and volunteer. I studied history for many years and have traveled very extensively. I am passionate about inclusivity and kindness and always model those values for the children I work with.

Mary is amazing! Our family loves her, and we are sad to see her move from FL to NH in June. She promptly picks up our daughters (ages 10 and 12) after school and watches them in our home M - F. She is well educated, and is an excellent tutor when they need help with math, writing, or social studies. Mary is a great cook and regularly makes our favorites such as chicken Marsala and roasted cauliflower. She does light housekeeping including loading the dishwasher and folding clothes. On school holidays, she offers to drive our girls to the library or park, and often brings materials for crafts they enjoy. We pay her more than we have any previous babysitters, but she is well worth it! Our kids are smart, but Mary's support allows them to maintain straight A's. She asks questions to determine the needs of the family, then enthusiastically makes it her mission to assist with those needs. Prospective employers are welcome to contact me with any questions.
