About Marlene

I am an experienced educator and caregiver who believes in the power of play and prioritizing safety and fun. I am currently in Grad School focusing on anti-racist education and I already miss teaching and playing with children! I have years of experience working with toddlers through teenagers in classrooms, summer programs and home caregiving settings. I have training in Reggio Emilia, Inquiry and Play based approaches to childcare/teaching. My favorite activities with children are reading, cooking, art, nature walks, science experiments, imaginative play, dancing and Spanish language activities. Most importantly, I love discovering what each child is passionate about so I can best engage their needs. I want to support your family with date nights, weekend care and regular part time care.
