My name is Maritza Joya, I live in Alexandria, Virginia. I have experience caring for children in both home-based daycare settings and private households. I perform my work with love, dedication, and a strong sense of responsibility. For me, caring for children is much more than just a job--it is a passion. My career in childcare began with positive experiences as a nanny, which solidified my desire to make a positive impact on children's lives. Thanks to my extensive experience caring for children between the ages of five months and four years, I have honed a patient and calm approach, incorporating creative play, arts and crafts, and reading into our daily activities. I truly love everything I have learned so far. I speak Spanish and feel most comfortable communicating in my native language, although I have also learned some English.
