We had Mariel with both of our kids and she was wonderful. She's calm, attentive, and incredibly reliable — I can't think of a single day she missed. She really understands how kids work and gets right down on their level to engage with them, which made a huge difference for our youngest, who she spent most of her days with. She also handled school pickups for our oldest when we needed it. On top of all that, she was always willing to unload the dishwasher or tidy up common spaces without being asked. If you're looking for someone steady and genuinely good with children, she's it.
