About Marichelo

Hi! I have been around professional childcare my whole life, my mother has been a licensed daycare provider for 20 years. I have also personally worked in a daycare center for over 4 years with all age groups, especially infants and preschoolers. I love supporting children's growth and development while working alongside parents to provide the care and support they need. I'm experienced with daily reports, verbal communication, and phone calls, and I always respect each family's preferred communication style. Communication is very important to me, so I encourage parents to check in and share any concerns or updates. I'm a certified teacher with CPR/First Aid certifications, Early Childhood Development coursework, and an Education degree in progress at WOU. I'm also fluent in English and Spanish. Please note that I'm a college student. Starting Sept. 28, I have classes Tuesdays 10 AM-12 p.m. and Thursdays 2-4 p.m. I'll also need Sept. 18-27 off. Thank you for considering me!
