About Mariana

Hi, my name is Mariana! While I was in college, I worked as a babysitter, and I later worked at shelters that served vulnerable children and youth between the ages of 8-18. I also worked as a tutor at a charter school serving grades K-12. I love encouraging children to be curious, creative, kind, confident, and thoughtful. I love being creative, which I think can make working with children especially fun. I enjoy arts and crafts, decorating, and finding creative ways to keep children engaged. Currently, I work as a caseworker during the week, so my schedule can vary. I am looking for a flexible weekend position that will allow me to earn additional income while continuing to grow professionally. I am preparing to pursue my master's degree in social work, so I am hoping to find a position that can support me financially while also allowing me to continue working with children and families. I am dependable, flexible, and open to picking up shifts occasionally or as needed.
