Being a caregiver , to provide support and assistance to another person who is unable to care for themselves , I trained for the role or informal caregivers like family members. I have experienced for 2 types of caregivers which is HOME CAREGIVERS and SENIOR LIVING CAREGIVERS. HOME CAREGIVERS- this is when I assist a client or resident individuals within the comfort of the person's home, such as bathing , activities, light housekeeping , meal preparation, feeding , running errands , Dr appointments, grooming etc. SENIOR LIVING CAREGIVERS- work in the senior living facility with more than 2-10 resident , support them with Care more communal environment. My responsibility is to respect patients privacy and individuality have good hygiene, perform different caregivers skills and approach the patient with open mind.
