Maria is precious as a caring human being and a caregiver. For over a year, Maria took care of my elderly mother who is known to be difficult. She had driven away at least 7 other caregivers due to her dementia. But somehow she trusted Maria and Maria became her best friend. My brother and I were impressed with how Maria kept my mom's house spotless and organized. Maria has a heart of gold and went above and beyond to make sure my mom was well taken care of. She was constantly keeping me and my brother informed of my mom's condition. In addition, Maria kept me informed of any slightest change in her schedule. She gave me the feeling that I could totally trust her. When my mom fell and broke her hip this past May, Maria even accompanied her to the hospital and came to visit her after her surgery. Now that my mom is in a board and care home, Maria has come all the way to Sacramento to visit my mom. She did all this out of the goodness of her heart without getting paid for it. We cannot say enough about how grateful we are to have Maria in our lives. Even though we don't speak Spanish, we managed to communicate through Google Translate and it worked out amazingly well.
