About Mariah

Hi there, my name is Mariah and I'm an energetic and creative 22-year-old! I started out in culinary school, but fell into childcare 3 years ago and love it so much! My favorite age group are toddlers, but I have experience with all ages. I'm looking for a part time or full time position, with a minimum of a 6 month commitment, and my rates start at $21/ hour for one child. I have worked for 2 families, one for a year, and the others for 9 months each. My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing seasonal crafts, baking, pretend play, encouraging independent time, and special weekly outings when appropriate. My skills include Patience, Communication, Resilience. I'm firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. In my personal time I love to cook fancy dishes, bake, and play board games with my friends.
