About Malia

Hi! My name is Malia and I am currently a third year undergraduate student studying Human Development. I enjoy hiking, reading, line dancing, and hanging out with friends. I come from a big family and I have 4 sisters! In high school, I participated in VBS every summer where I led kids ages anywhere from 5-15 in games, crafts, and group activities while making sure they are safe, following the rules, and everyone feels included. I also have been ocassionally babysitting for about 3-4 years. Additionally, I also have some experience in caretaking/babysitting an individual who had cerebral palsy and other disabilities. I was able to help with meals, safety, and engaging in different activities with them to provide comfort to the individual and her family. I have reliable transportation, am comfortable with pets, and I have a geniune love for working with kids and supporting their growth! I am responsible, patient, and I look forward to getting to know your family!
