About makayla

Hi! my name is makayla, I'm 20 years old with years of hands on childcare experience through family and close friends. I have eight nieces and nephews, and I've spent a lot of time helping care for them. I've especially been involved in caring for my niece, who is now 7, and I've helped look after her since she was a baby. Because of that, I'm most comfortable with infants through around age 7 and familiar with routines like meals, playtime, and bedtime. I've also babysat for friends and family during evenings and when they needed extra help. I'm very patient, gentle, and attentive, and I naturally create a calm and comforting environment where kids feel safe and at ease. I always follow parents' instructions closely and do my best to keep things consistent. I'm soft-spoken, and children usually feel comfortable with me quickly and respond well to my calm approach. I truly enjoy caring for children and always aim to make them feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
