My name is Maiya, I like to consider myself a honest, hardworking, and caring soul. I love to spread optimism & I adapt very well to new environments. I've been babysitting since 14 years old and I've naturally always gravitated towards children! I've worked as a freelance nanny and substitute / daycare teacher which has allowed me to experience caring for a numerous amount of ages, personalities, and helping them understand who they are and their emotions, guiding them to be the best individuals they can be, being patient and gentle with them, using positive redirection, & protecting their innocence! I can confidently say that it is my life's purpose. In my spare time I love baking! reading fiction stories ! & swimming!
