About Mahina

Growing up in a very family-oriented household, I was always helping watch and care for my younger cousins. My first official babysitting job came in middle school, where I cared for two boys ages 5 and 7. Later on, I spent my high school summers volunteering as a coach for a kids' volleyball camp. My approach to babysitting is rooted in being open, understanding, and patient. I like to use imagination, creativity, and collaborative problem-solving to help kids navigate challenges in a way that feels fun and empowering. I focus on creating a safe, supportive environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves, asking questions, and exploring new ideas. I also believe in gentle guidance - helping kids learn through curiosity, play, and positive communication. I love the outdoors and wildlife and hope to purse a career in that field. I enjoy walks, hiking, and camping. When I can't be outside I love doing crafts of all sorts, reading, and of course watching a good show.
