About Maddie

I'd describe my personality as warm, bubbly, and empathetic. I am highly adaptable, easy-going and calm. I like working with kids because I love to watch young kids use their imagination and grow. There is an unconditional love that often comes with working with young kids that I find fulfilling. I'm looking for a job that requires roughly 20-25 hours a week of full days with kids. I would love to work in Brooklyn where I can easily take the kids outside for play and to explore. I started working with kids when I was 17, but really honed my skills at 22, when I worked with a family full-time for over a year. In my spare time, I like to take long walks and explore new neighborhoods in the city. I enjoy thrifting and vintage shopping. I also work part-time as an Executive Assistant at a non-profit so I am organized, reliable, and love to help others. My skills include helping young toddlers with their communication, risk awareness and safety, and creativity.
