About Mackayla

Hi, I'm Mackayla! I have 6+ years of experience working with children! I have worked in schools, a day program for children with Autism, and as a professional nanny in private homes. I know patience, creativity, and humor make great care. I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology and graduated as part of the International Honors Sociey for Psychology. During my studies, I have taken child development courses that have helped me understand children even better. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, and willing to get additional training at the parent's request. I love music, play guitar/ukulele, and enjoy planning fun indoor and outdoor activities. I'm happy to help with light housework related to the children, and cooking. I love pets and would love to be around them, too!
