I have 21 years of teaching experience in elementary school education with two master's degrees. 

I loved growing up with five younger brothers and sisters. I was often viewed as the "third parent" in our family. 

I'm also proud of being an aunt to 41 nieces and nephews (13 from my side and 28 from my husband's side) And yes, we try to acknowledge every birthday! 

I'm seeking to work with parents who will allow me to be active with their children, both indoors and outdoors. 

I'm trained in CPR and First Aid. My background check is also current.

We can’t sing Ly’s praises enough. From the first time she came to our house to meet our son, we knew we were fortunate to have connected with her. She has such a caring and calming presence. And equally as important, you quickly get the sense that she really knows what she’s doing. Even when our son was upset about leaving one day, Ly recommended a stroller ride around the block which quickly calmed him down. This informed confidence is one of the things that made us quickly trust her with our son’s care.
 
Ly is amazing with communication. While our son is with her, she sends pictures and occasional updates. And when she drops him off or we pick him up, she gives us a written note with a breakdown of the day. Where they went, when he slept, what he ate. Even a quick assessment from enrichment activities.
 
Another thing we appreciate is that she spends most of their time together outside of the house. Whether it be at the park, the bookstore, an indoor playground, or a community gathering, they’re on the move and not simply sitting inside all day. Knowing how much our son enjoys being active makes us thankful for this.
 
Because of these things, we never hesitate to reach out to Ly and ask her to care for our son, even overnights. That’s the level of trust we have. I highly, highly recommend her.

Ly is an amazing sitter. A mom’s dream come true. She has attention to detail and is so helpful and easygoing. I highly recommend her as a sitter :) 

Ly was a part of our family for a year and a half and we are so grateful for the time she spent with our kids. She was wonderful with our two preschool aged children! Ly handled school pickup, playtime, meal prep and bath time. She took them to many fun places that we didn't even know existed since we are relatively new to Charlotte. Our two kids loved her like family and she brought a perfect balance of fun, firm, and loving to the mix. I couldn't recommend Ly enough!

Ly is truly amazing! She is a modern day Mary Poppins. She worked with our family for a year and a half and our home never ran smoother.  Ly's many years as an elementary school teacher made her an excellent nanny for so many reasons: she loved a schedule and created one for us to follow, exposed my kids to many wonderful activities and adventures, her demeanor is calm but firm-my kids truly respected her. She is a loving and kind person and someone who I trust my kids with implicitly---she became like a second grandmother to us. She is responsible and takes her time on the job very seriously, always going above and beyond what was asked. I cannot say enough great things about Ly...she is a blessing and a gem!

Ly is phenomenal. She always has great ideas to keep our daughter busy and learning. She's engaging and patient. Our daughter needed a very patient person and Ly was the perfect choice. Would rehire 10/10 and we do every chance we get.

We had a wonderful experience with Ly babysitting our 9 year old daughter.  Ly touched base beforehand to check in with what she needed to know about bedtimes, pets, etc.  She arrived promptly and was very pleasant, professional, and provided a written recap of the night when we arrived home.  We look forward to having Ly babysit for us again!

Ly is a gem! We know her through close family friends who she nannies for and she is just wonderful. She babysat our daughter on short notice and was phenomenal with her. Her experience was quite clear as she was very comfortable in a new home with a new child, and our very shy daughter felt at ease. Ly came prepared with fun activities / crafts and was quick to go with the flow upon meeting our little. She checked in with us regularly throughout our evening & put us at ease while away. Very much recommend her and grateful to be able to call her in the future!

Ly has babysat several times for for my infant son, both during the day and at night. She is poised, punctual, dependable, and trustworthy. Ly's demeanor is calm and capable, and she always comes armed with children's books to entertain and educate our 6 month old. Simply put, Ly is lovely and my husband and I strongly recommend her as a babysitter!

Ly is a former elementary school teacher.  She has taken care of my granddaughter a few times.  Ly always comes prepared with age appropriate activities. During the time she was caring for my granddaughter she played games with her and participated in other activities.  Ly is extremely kind and dependable.
