About Lydia

I'd describe my personality as kind, creative, and observant. I started working with kids pretty much when my younger brother was born and I was 9 years old. I've had a very large part in raising him and taking care of him for the majority of his life. I have also been babysitting since I was around 13 for family friends and such. I held a teaching assistant position as well for rising kindergarteners. It's always brought me so much joy working with kids, they are so much fun to be around! In my spare time, I like to do lots of arts and crafts! I'm an avid crocheter, I bake, sew, draw, and more. I also really enjoy spending time outdoors, whether that's hiking, swimming, hammocking, biking, or something else. I spend a lot of time listening to music and doing yoga too! I'd say my top 3 childcare skills are empathy, patience, and conflict resolution.
