About Luz

Hi! I'm Luz, a bilingual (English/Spanish) childcare professional with 10+ years of experience caring for children from infancy through school age in private homes, classrooms, and behavioral health settings. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and have a strong background in child development, special education, behavior, and emotional support. I'm energetic, patient, dependable, and love engaging children through reading, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, sports, imaginative play, and hands-on learning. I also have experience in no-screen, Montessori-inspired homes and enjoy encouraging independence, curiosity, confidence, and emotional growth while maintaining loving, consistent boundaries. I'm organized, proactive, resourceful, and comfortable supporting busy households. I'm CPR & First Aid certified, a non-smoker, and comfortable caring for multiple children. Most importantly, I take pride in being someone families can truly depend on and trust.
