About Luz

Hi! My name is Luz. I'm a caring, responsible, and experienced nanny with a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology from the Dominican Republic. I have experience working as a nanny, as a teacher at an early childhood stimulation center/daycare, and as a coordinator at a psychological center. My background has given me a strong understanding of children's development, emotional needs, and daily routines. I have completed 15 hours of childcare training in Child Growth and Development, Health & Safety, and Mandated Reporting/Child Abuse and Neglect. I'm also currently completing my CPR certification. Spanish is my native language, and I'm currently studying English. I use translation tools when needed to communicate clearly with parents. I'm patient, nurturing, attentive, and committed to providing children with a safe, loving, and stimulating environment.
