Hello Parents, My name is Lois. I'm a transplant from New York! Years before obtaining my bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences, I had studied Early Childhood Development, acquiring 30 units, including a Family Support Specialist Certification. 

As a former foster mom, I received "my infants" directly from the hospital, just hours old!! I treasure those years. 

In addition to being enchanted by infants, I also have experience working with children from 4 - 18 years-old's while working with both Elementary and High School Districts in Chula Vista.

I am currently available Monday - Friday from 8:00 - 2:PM. Or 9:00-3:PM Or 2:00 - 6:00 p.m.  I am seeking 15-30 hours per week.

Lois was communicative and prompt. She had a hard task of watching our two boys while we were traveling and they were sick and took it in stride. 

I hired Lois to help watch my three month old so I could catch up on housework. She was prompt, kind, and very sweet with my boy. She helped out around the house when he was sleeping, and rolled with the punches when my three year had to come home from preschool after an injury. Really appreciated her help!

Lois watched our three month old for two nights when we visited San Diego (both nights for around 8 hours each) and we couldn’t have had a better experience. She was reliable and always maintained great communication - confirming with us prior to our visit and her arrival, and sending several updates and photos while we were away. It was clear to us that she has extensive experience caring for newborns and infants. We saw that she was able to easily soothe him when upset and was also engaged with him when awake. She was very organized and went above and beyond by cleaning the used bottles. We felt confident that our little guy was safe and very well cared for with “Aunt Lois”. We have highly recommended her to our friends in the area and just wish that we were lucky enough to have her close to home. 

Lois is very kind and has a big heart!  She bonded immediately with our talkative 8 year old, and was also amazing with our young dog.   We would be very happy to have her here again.  

My mother in law really enjoys her visits with Lois and said she is very positive, helpful and a great companion. Lois encourages her to be active and promotes memory enhancing activities. This takes stress off my husband and I, who cannot be with her every day. 

Lois was awesome!! She even took the time to hop on call to ask about B! When Lois arrived she instantly started to engage with B and was really engaged the whole time she was here. They did art and made cookies. Super cool human! Thank you Lois! 

Lois was very kind and gentle with our 2 year old. Great communication and punctual, followed instruction and overal a great person to have come for a visit. I Recommend hiring her if you are looking for a sitter. We will definitely reach out to her again for future needs.

Lois was an excellent caregiver for our 2 boys on our visits to Asheville area. She was also helped to take care of a family dog. I would recommend her for any family.

Lois was so flexible with our family and gave us full confidence in her absolute to handle anything that should arise. She was kind, punctual, and also super kind. She helped care for our daughter and also our elderly pet.

We hired Lois to watch out children while we vacationed in Asheville. Hiring a child care provider is stressful anytime but even more so when you are traveling. Lois was amazing! My children (ages 4 and 6) warmed up to her right away. She always came on time (usually a few minutes early to work) and was such a joy. She played with kids, prepared healthy meals and snacks, and read to them. I cannot recommend her highly enough. We only regret that we cannot use her more often since we are no longer on vacation. But if we ever return, we will call her in a heartbeat.

Lois is a wonderful person to help care for children.  My 4 year old daughter and 9 month old son warmed up to her quickly.  She is reliable, dependable and a good communicator.
