About Lisa

I'm Lisa, an experienced nanny, Family/Household Assistant, parenting coach, and children's author with a genuine passion for children, emotional regulation, and helping families thrive. I've worked professionally with private families since 2017, caring for children from infancy through school age, including neurodivergent children. I'm also a mother of two grown sons and homeschooled my children through 10th grade. I write children's books that help kids understand emotions, mindfulness, and self-regulation, and I love bringing those tools into everyday life through play, connection, and age-appropriate structure. I also love supporting the home itself through organization, practical systems, errands, and family logistics. Before working with private families, I spent 28 years with Nordstrom in leadership and operations. I hold a Master's in Integrative Health and am CPR/First Aid certified. I lived four years in Baja, MX and recently returned to SD, to be close to my sons.
