Experience: 10 yrs
Supporting the well-being and independence of seniors has been my lifelong passion for the past 10 years. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, I provide compassionate, professional care ranging from medical management and physical activity to light housekeeping and meal preparation. My approach is rooted in patience and empathy, and I prioritize understanding each person's unique history and preferences to build a meaningful connection. I am highly skilled at adapting to changing routines and de-escalating stressful situations, ensuring your loved one feels secure and supported. I maintain open communication through your preferred method, whether by phone, text, or in-person updates. I also hold CPR Training. Whether I am assisting with daily living tasks or providing respite care, I am dedicated to making a positive impact on your family's life. I look forward to treating your loved one with the same kindness I would offer my own family.
Linda was a care giver to my elderly parents for the past year. She worked regular week nights and some weekend hours for them. Linda was always punctual, attentive to their needs, and has an incredibly kind heart. As the daughter coordinating the majority of the care giving, Linda was very easy to communicate with, had many helpful suggestions, and was flexible in working with us as needs changed. She managed to handle two 92 year olds in the same household during this time. Initially their care was primarily for companionship and assisting them some activities of daily living. However as my mother's health deteriorated her care needs became more hands on. My mother became afraid to not have someone in the house overnight so Linda took on this role giving my mother a great sense of comfort as she neared the end of her life. During the last two months my mother was on in home hospice care. Linda is quite knowledgeable in this area and was very helpful to our family as we navigated that difficult time. Now that Mom has passed and Dad's needs are not as great, we have reduced the amount of care giver hours in the home and Linda has moved on. If needs change, I would not hesitate to reach back out to Linda. If it looks like Linda would be a good fit for your situation, I would be happy to discuss our experience with you. She has my number! Beth
