About Lily

Hello! My name is Lily and I'm an 18-year-old sophomore at Butte College where I've taken multiple child development classes since my junior year in high school. I have 4 younger siblings that I regularly babysit as well as 3 younger cousins that I've babysat occasionally for the past couple years. I also serve at my church in the kid's ministry 2 days a week! Growing up as the oldest child in a big family definitely helped spark my enjoyment in childcare and also has helped me develop excellent patience, problem solving skills, and communication abilities when it comes to children. In my free time I like hiking, taking online courses, and doing DIY crafts. I'm looking for a job in childcare because it will better help me expand my childcare skills and that will make me a better future youth advocacy attorney as well as a better future foster parent (both of which are my long-term goals.)
