Aloha! My name is Lee I previously worked for Avis Budget Group and I am now in semi-retirement. I've been a Kamaaina since 1964. I graduated from Aiea high School and the University of Hawaii, West Oahu. I was my mother's caregiver for 13 years after a devastating stroke. Her doctors were Dr. David Saito and Dr. Melvin Wong at Pali Momi. One of the things that I will never forget is Dr Saito saying to me after my mother passed, "You did a good job taking care of her." and I appreciated him saying that. To be honest, I wish there was a Care. com back then to provide respite care. I completely understand wanting to have someone there when going out to the store or errands.
