About Leandra

Hi! My name is Leandra, and I have several years of experience babysitting, tutoring, teaching, and mentoring children. I babysat throughout high school, helped raise my younger siblings, and regularly walked neighborhood children to school. I'm especially comfortable with babies and elementary and middle schoolers. I've also taught at an AIA summer camp and the Bella Abzug Leadership Institute, working with children and teens ages 8-21. I'm comfortable with pets and have plenty of experience walking dogs. I'm patient, responsible, organized, punctual, and communicative. Having grown up managing food allergies and severe childhood asthma, I understand the importance of following family routines, dietary restrictions, medications, and safety instructions. I still carry an EpiPen myself, so I take these precautions very seriously!
