Thank you so much for looking at my profile! I understand how difficult it can be to find someone who can care for your children as you would. Let me first start off with my experience. I have a graduate degree in childhood education and advanced literacy. Since 2012, I worked as a teacher in New York City, upstate New York, and Jacksonville, FL. I also served as an assistant principal in the last two years I was with Duval County. I moved to this area two years ago to be closer to my aging mother and secure position with Sarasota County schools. Unfortunately, as soon as I moved down, I was diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma. I spent the last two years fighting, and I am now in remission as of April 2026. I am not quite ready to join the workforce again and don't plan to do so until the fall of 2027. I am very capable of caring for your child during this time and it would bring me great joy to be able to be around those I I've worked with most of my life.
