About Kiran

Hi, I'm Kiran! I'm a recent Columbia University graduate originally from Toronto, now based in New York. Caring for kids comes naturally to me - I grew up as one of four siblings, have babysat for family friends across a range of ages, and spent several summers working at camps where I led field trips, kept kids entertained, and helped create a safe and fun environment for everyone. Those experiences taught me how to be patient, adaptable, and genuinely present with kids. I'm comfortable with children from toddlers to preteens and love getting creative - whether that's arts and crafts, outdoor activities, reading, or just having a good time at home. In my spare time, I love being outside - long walks through the city, sitting by the pier, Central Park to decompress, jazz shows, concerts, comedy nights. And when I'm slowing down, a good book. I take reliability and trust seriously, and I'm always happy to meet families beforehand so you can feel confident before any commitment.
