About Kiara

Hello my name is Kiara :) I am from Albany, NY . I am currently a lead teacher in a preschool room at the YMCA. I have been working here for a year now. During my time at the Y I have been the lead teacher for both preschool and Pre-K classes. I am also pursuing the CDA credential & anticipate being done by December. Prior to me being a lead teach I have worked with children for several years as a counselor, teachers aide and baby sitter. In addition to these jobs, I have acquired a lifetime of experience as I am the oldest sibling of 5. I am also really excited to say that I am expecting my first child :) I'm super excited to be a first time mom, it's been a dream of mine ever since I started working with children. A little more about myself.. I love to play board games and watch movies with the children. I have volunteered as a mentor for after school programs in many middle schools as well.
