About Kelsey

Kelsey has been babysitting my now 7-year-old daughter for the past 5 years. I first hired her when I was returning to work and only needed someone to watch my daughter for about two hours each day. Over time, she became someone we could truly rely on, and now she’ll occasionally pick my daughter up from school, help her with homework, make sure she has a nutritious meal, and take her to ballet afterward. What I really appreciate about Kelsey is that she doesn’t just “watch” my daughter. She is genuinely engaged with her. She’ll do enrichment activities, play games with her, and has even worked with her on math skills that are a little above her grade level. My daughter absolutely loves her and gets so excited when she knows Kelsey is going to be picking her up or spending the afternoon with her. Sometimes Kelsey will also watch her for a few hours on the weekend when I just need a little time to myself, and I always feel completely comfortable knowing she’s with her. It’s honestly so cute coming home and finding them sitting at the table playing card games or board games together. She really knows how to get on my daughter’s level, keep her engaged, and make their time together fun. I also love that she’ll send me little pictures or clips here and there so I can see what they’re up to. When my daughter was 5, she even helped her make me a homemade Mother’s Day gift, which was so sweet. Kelsey is also incredibly thoughtful. She knows I’m a single parent and will sometimes notice little ways she can make my life easier without me even asking. One night when she knew I was getting home late and had to be up early the next morning, she went ahead and packed my daughter’s lunch for school the next day. Little things like that really mean a lot. I highly recommend Kelsey. She has been reliable, trustworthy, attentive, and such a positive person in my daughter’s life. She cares for her so genuinely, and I’m really grateful that we found her.
