About Katlyn

I'd describe my personality as nurturing, compassionate, and positive. I like working with kids because I love to get to know them and support their interests and ambitions. I love the opportunities to teach new skills and celebrate milestones that have been achieved. I love to implement day to day routines for my kids that offer them a sense of safety and stability. I started working with kids when I was still in school. Now, 11 years later, working with kids has become my career. In my spare time, I like to read, write, take on DIY projects, spend time with my kids, get outside. One thing you should know about me is I have 6 years experience working as an instructional paraprofessional for the State of Delaware. I have experience working with children with special needs and I am familiar and comfortable with implementing practices/routines that will lead to your child's overall success and independence.
