Hi! My name is Katie, I'm a babysitter in Hendersonville / Nashville with 13+ years of professional childcare experience & I currently am available for flexible part-time hours, occasional help, date nights & occasional overnights.

I've cared for infants - grade school age children & can handle their different needs simultaneously. I'm very physically active and have a personal training certification. I have been CPR certified twice, have my own reliable transportation/clean driving record & I do not smoke. 

Availability: I am unavailable 10:30 a.m.  - 3:30 p.m.  most days, but this varies & is flexible - so I'd love to chat more about your needs!

Time minimum: I consider the distance from my home or work when accepting hours, & try to prioritize families who need 4+ hour blocks. However, this can be flexible, so let's chat!

Trials: I'm always happy to do a meet & greet or trial. My hourly rate applies for in-person meetings. FaceTimes & phone calls are complimentary :)

We just used Katie as a babysitter for the first time and I was so impressed. She is very caring, professional and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable leaving my small children in her care and they had a great time with her. We will hire her again!

Katie is great! She always responds quickly when we reach out and have babysitting needs. She is so sweet with our toddler and has always taken great care of him! As an added bonus, she is great with animals, our fur baby loves her too!

We feel so lucky we found Katie :) She started sitting for us when my son was just 9 months old - and we were grateful to have her in our lives until his 4th birthday, when we moved away. Katie was a huge part of my son’s early years and truly became like family to us.

Katie is incredibly dependable and always on top of everything. She was never late, was completely flexible with our schedule, and kept our son’s routine down to a T — literally writing down the exact minute he would fall asleep! She was so attentive to all the little details, which gave me so much peace of mind as a new mom!

And equally important, Katie is so much fun. Our son absolutely adored her. Being in the music biz, she made sure to give our little guy plenty of live music — and I swear, hearing her sing “Baby Beluga” would put him right to sleep. ;) 

All the kids in the neighborhood loved her too, and the other moms were constantly asking if they could “borrow Katie” -  which really says everything about how naturally wonderful she is with kids.

Katie is caring, responsible, organized, flexible, and someone I always felt completely comfortable leaving our son with - we genuinely never had a complaint!

If we were still nearby, we would absolutely still spend as much time together as possible. We miss having her in our lives and feel so lucky that she was part of our son’s first few years. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her!

I’m so glad we found Katie! I was a nanny for 10 years and now have my own infant so my standards are high. She is worth her rate and her 4 hour minimum! She cares for my 2 month old and not only do I trust her with him, she seems to truly enjoy him which makes me feel comfortable leaving him. If you’re looking for someone inexpensive and young to take advantage of, she’s not your girl. Katie is a professional and any family she chooses to work with will be lucky to have found her! 

Katie was everything we could have asked for in a sitter for our little guy! As first time parents we were very hesitant about going anywhere without him and very particular about who we left him with. We couldn't have chosen someone better! Katie was extremely kind and patient with our 6 month old and got him down to sleep like a pro! We will definitely be hiring Katie again when in the Nashville area!

Katie is the most incredible person! She is always on time, great communication and most importantly the most caring and loving for our girls! They love her so much. Would hire her 100 times over! 

Katie was so great, our 12 month old LOVED her. I wasn't worried at all leaving my daughter for the first time. She was very respectful of our routine and our home.

Great babysitter! She showed up on time, and was very attentive to our 8 month old.

Katie is amazing! She did not have an easy gig watching my 10 month old boy in a hotel for up to 14 hours a day, but they thrived together. She kept him fed, napped, and happy. I would hire Katie again in a second! She has such a sweet personality, was always on time and flexible with my crazy schedule. I give her the highest recommendation!

Kaitlyn recently watched our 2 yr old son and was amazing. Our kiddo immediately took to her. She kept him entertained, active, and content all day. Kaitlyn was very communicative, punctual, and a pleasure to work with. We look forward to her watching our son again!

Kaitlyn, or KT, has nannied for us for a few years. My 8 year-old son adores her, and is always asking when she's coming back! She has such an upbeat personality that kids literally flock to her when they are playing at the park. She and my son do crafts together, play games and sports, and she helps him with his homework. She knows how to prepare meals, and most importantly, she will clean up! Kaitlyn is, and has been, a treasure to us.

Katie is awesome. She's fun, sweet and reliable. The kids feel really comfortable with her around as do I. She has also come through last minute.--so thankful! She's a really great sitter.
