About Katie

Hello! My name is Katie, and I have over 11 years of experience working with children in schools, early childhood programs, and one-on-one settings. I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Special Education and am a Certified Academic Language Practitioner (CALP) with training in evidence-based reading instruction. I specialize in working with preschool to middle school students, including children with learning disabilities, ADHD, dyslexia, and other reading challenges. I provide personalized support in reading, phonics, spelling, writing, homework, and foundational academic skills. I strive to create a patient, encouraging, and engaging learning environment where children feel confident asking questions and celebrating their progress. My goal is to help every child strengthen their skills, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning. I look forward to partnering with your family to help your child succeed!
