About Katherine

Nurturing children's growth and development is a true passion of mine. I spent a year as a preschool enrichment teacher, a year as a Registered Behavior Technician, 2. 5 years as a volunteer Wednesday night preschool leader at my old church, a year caring for other children in my home, and am a mom of 3 (age 14, 10, and 6) . I hold a M. S. in Library & Info Science, a B. S. in Elementary Ed. and a minor in Studio Art. I am creative, patient, and caring. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and expectations. As a parent myself, I value open communication with parents, adapting to their preferred method. I am certified in CPR Training. I was a Registered Behavior Technician in Applied Behavioral Analysis (therapy for children with Autism) from June '25 to June '26. I enjoy supporting early learners through books, sensory activities, outdoor experiences, outings to libraries, parks, etc.
