About Katelyn

Nurturing children's potential is my greatest passion. I have been working with kids the past 2 years (going on 3) as a registered behavior technician full time at an autism clinic with children ages 3-12, now currently working part time in the UNC child development lab with middle school and preschool aged kids. My approach is patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I have a degree from UNC in psychology with a minor in neuroscience, and I am First Aid and CPR certified. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, educational games, alongside fostering creativity through imaginative play and arts and crafts. I will follow your lead on household rules and preferred communication methods. I can assist with cooking, carpooling, and light housekeeping. My degree alongside my specific focus in childhood development gives me the tools to create a safe and healthy learning environment for children. I am excited to support your family and create a positive and fun relationship with your child.
