About Kate

Hi, I'm Kate - a rising senior at Agnes Scott College studying History and Spanish, on my way to law school. I've loved working with kids of all ages throughout my life! I've babysat and nannied for years, spent two summers as a sleepaway camp counselor, taught 7th grade English through a TFA-affiliated program in underserved communities, and currently serve as a youth facilitator for Jimiri Atlanta at the National Center for Human and Civil Rights. For the past two years, I've nannied for a wonderful family in Decatur with three children, about 20 hours a week. As their childcare needs have decreased, I'm now looking for around 15-20 hours a week with a new family. I'm certified in Wilderness First Aid, First Aid, CPR, and AED, and I'm comfortable caring for children with medical needs like allergies and asthma.
