About Karla

Hello, my name is Karla. I have worked several years as an elementary school teacher, a special education teacher, a tutor, and a nanny. My primary job is tutoring part-time. I'm not currently available for recurring support, just one-time only or occasional support within my available hours. I'm very interactive with children and have experience with children who have autism, ADHD, or other diverse needs. I play, laugh, and smile often. You will not find me checked out and scrolling on my phone. I like to be fully engaged with children. I enjoy reading, music, games, art, cooking, baking, outdoor activities, and crafts. If needed, I can bring an activity or game to play (depending on their age). I'm a non-smoker, I have a reliable car, and I'm comfortable with any pets. I am not currently CPR or First Aid certified, but I do keep a LifeVac anti-choking device in my car at all times. Please message me for my availability as it may fluctuate each week.
