About Kali

Hi parents! I'm Kalkidan, an LA-raised recent college graduate with eight years of childcare experience. I am CPR and First Aid certified, with experience caring for children from infancy through teenage years. I'm warm, patient, dependable, and fun, and I aim to bring a big sister energy to the families I work with. One thing that's especially important to me is treating children as capable little humans by listening to them, respecting their feelings and personalities, and helping them build confidence while still having structure and boundaries. I value having a friendship and being a safe space for the kids so I ask parents to encourage that. I'm also happy to help with carpooling, swimming supervision, travel, and outings. Above all, I value open communication, mutual respect, and finding a family where we genuinely feel like a great fit!
