About Kaitlin

Hi! I'm Katy! I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's in Inclusive Childhood Education and Students with Disabilities. I began babysitting at age 12 and have over 8 years of professional childcare experience, including working as a residential childcare worker, preschool lead teacher, and first-grade teacher. I'm patient, nurturing, dependable, and passionate about helping children learn and grow! I love planning creative activities, crafts, educational games, and outdoor adventures. I believe in setting high, age-appropriate expectations while encouraging independence, problem-solving, and confidence. I want children to try things on their own before stepping in to help. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, friends, and our dog, Hudson! I'm looking for a family that values open communication, consistency, and a loving, supportive environment. I'd love to help your little ones learn, grow, and thrive!
