About Kaia

Hello! My name is Kaia, I graduated from UVM in 2025 with a degree in Zoology and Music. During school and after graduation I worked with a young disabled woman and helped her in toileting/changing, eating, mobility, transportation, and quality of life care through building friendship and doing fun activities together. Since moving to NYC I've been working as an afterschool teacher and my job was introducing children aged 2-7 to various types of animals. I encouraged empathy, kindness, and curiosity. Now that the school year is over, I would love to work with your child! I'd describe myself as kind, responsible, and fun I like working with kids because I love the way they see the world and I believe it takes a village to raise a child I started working with kids at 18 in 2021 at a summer camp for 4-12-year-olds and I've worked at summer camps almost every summer since In my spare time, I like to write music, sing, do arts and crafts, go to the park, and hang out with friends.
