I am friendly, dependable and conscientious. I am a non-smoker, am CPR certified and have reliable transportation and an excellent driving record. I like working with kids because I love to watch them learn, grow and laugh. I strive to create a nurturing environment for them to succeed and feel appreciated. I'm looking for a job that uses my positive energy and ability to establish rapport. I love to read to kids, build puzzles and play games. I use verbal praise and humor when appropriate in my interactions. I babysat a lot with children of all ages. I took care of my grandchildren when they were infants and toddlers. I am a retired psychiatric nurse and worked with children. I began working in school districts with children with special needs as a classroom aide about five years ago. In my spare time, I take my dog for walks at the beach, watch my grandsons sport events and my granddaughters sailing races. I go out with my friends, and play all kinds of games.
