Now that my kids are older, I'm choosing to return to childcare because I genuinely miss the younger years--especially babies--and value how important those early relationships are. I'm capable, grounded and engaging, with the calm and perspective that come from raising three very different kids. I'm comfortable with multiple children and especially attentive to a child's cues, temperament and individual needs. I'm also an experienced cook with a background in children's nutrition, including gluten-free, dairy-free and special diets, plus organic and low-tox living. I'm flexible--open to occasional help or growing with the right family long-term. I'd especially love a kind, respectful family who values health, wellness and intentional parenting. I’ve known Joy for many years and had the opportunity to work closely with her for nearly five years in my pediatric chiropractic practice. She is incredibly capable, grounded, dependable and someone I would trust completely with a child, including a newborn. Her years of experience as a mother, combined with her extensive knowledge of nutrition, holistic health and child development, give her a perspective that is hard to find in a caregiver. I believe she would be an incredible asset to the right family and would recommend her without hesitation.
