About Josie

Hi! I'm Josie, a graduate student at UC Santa Cruz with over four years of childcare experience caring for children from 7 months to 9 years old. I'm CPR and First Aid certified and love creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment where kids can learn, play, and be themselves. I spent four summers working at a children's summer camp, where I gained experience leading activities, encouraging creativity, and supporting children with different personalities and needs. I enjoy arts and crafts, outdoor activities, reading, games, and helping little ones learn new skills and reach milestones. I'm patient, dependable, and attentive, and I value open communication with families. I'm happy to follow your routines and parenting style, help with homework, prepare simple meals and snacks, and do light child-related tidying.
