About Jil

I raised four boys. During that time I babysat for two children(one was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis). I have three grandchildren (two girls and a boy)I do have fun teaching them to play board games, putting puzzles together, playing the piano and riding bikes together. I am a youth-leader which I work with middle and high school students. I presently work with 13 middle school students and 15 High school students. I have worked with youth for 17 years. I organized mission trips and outings which would include up to 30 students. I was a youth director for two years where I incorporated programs for ages 2 -18. I was responsible for Sunday School teachers which means I had to fill in for teachers of all age groups with classroom sizes of 10 students. I am a CASA(Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children). I love spending time with children teaching them new things. The excitement on their faces as they learn and embrace new concepts and ideas is simply the greatest experience. I enjoy being outdoors working in my garden. I like to ride bikes, ride horses, play tennis, play the piano, and fish.
