About Jessie

Hi! I'm Jessie, and I'm passionate about helping students become confident, successful readers. I am a Special Education/General Education Reading Tutor with over 6 years experience working with elementary and middle school students, including those with learning differences and reading challenges. I provide individualized, engaging instruction tailored to each student's unique needs and learning style. I specialize in reading intervention, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and multisyllabic word reading. I believe every child can make meaningful progress when they receive patient, structured, and encouraging instruction. I strive to make each session positive, engaging, and successful. I enjoy partnering with families and keeping parents informed about their child's progress every step of the way. I look forward to helping your child grow into a confident reader!
