We were so incredibly lucky to have Jess as our full-time nanny for the last 8 months! Jess was amazing! We were traveling from out of town for a wedding, and Jess came to take care of our toddler while we attended the wedding. She came prepared with all kind of toys and activities and had a gentle and careful demeanor. We were able to leave for the wedding with no tears! Jess was everything we hoped for in a caregiver and more. She called me ahead of babysitting our 2YO, to understand nature of her temperament & routine & prepare us for what to expect. She came punctual & prepared with a bag of toys & activities- and knew immediately how to get our daughter to feel comfortable. Upon returning home, she had a written report of everything they had done together (including staying on the schedule I had requested - and art projects Jess had brought) as well as a tidy house for us! Jess is a talented, caring nanny who has been absolutely wonderful with my 3 and 5 year old kids.  She has been our travel and date night nanny on several occasions now, and each time she has planned fun, engaging, and educational activities for our kids.  She has also begun to teach them to swim!  She is responsible, trustworthy, always punctual and always responsive.  She strikes the perfect balance of fun and engaging but also firm and consistent about boundaries (which young kids need!) My kids love her and we will continue to hire her for future vacations!

Jess cared for our three children while we were attending a family wedding in New York. She was amazing with them and allowed me peace of mind while I had to be apart from them. She brought fun games, dealt with separation anxiety in my two year old, and did a wonderful job.

Nanny Jess was wonderful! We were visiting Lake George for a wedding and wanted someone to watch our two kiddos (1.5 & 3.5) at our rental. It turned out to be an 8 hour gig, entirely indoors because my littlest likes to nap and there wasn't anywhere nearby to safely take them. Jess came prepared with a bag of tricks that kept them both entertained. She even gave them a bath (as we requested), cleaning the tub first! At the end she left us with a hula hoop, artwork (didn't think our kid had patience for that!), and lots of memories. We would definitely hire her again.

Jess has been caring for my two boys (now almost 3.5 and 2 years) for about 1.5 years, and she is just simply the best! She always shows up on time and prepared with ideas for an activity or adventure, makes sure the kids have plenty of opportunities to be out and about in the community (including swim lessons!), and most importantly has clearly been fostering a sense of kindness and confidence in the children, as well as new traditions for our family. Jess has also traveled with us and helped with the boys during a busy wedding, never phased by any challenges that popped up or overnight care. Jess is like family to us and we're lucky to have her!

Nanny Jess was amazing with my daughter. We immediately felt comfortable and my daughter was always excited to see her and go through her bag of exciting goodies. She is knowledgeable, caring, and fun. I'm still sad we moved too far away for her to care for our child.

Nanny Jess was phenomenal with our girls! We were in town for a wedding, and she immediately had the girls wrapped around her finger with fun scavenger hunts and hula hoops and glow sticks. Jess has excellent credentials and was great with communication, sending us text updates and making us feel secure so that we could enjoy the wedding. We'd hire her again in a heart beat!

Nanny Jess has watched my 4-year old son on numerous occasions. She is very punctual, professional, and reliable. She also brings interesting art projects that the two of them would complete during their time together. She made sure to get exercise time in by bringing my son to the playground and to his activities. She also kept him occupied by playing board games with him and other age appropriate activities. I am happy that Jess helps out with my son, and I hope to hire her more in the future!

There are not enough wonderful things that I can say about Nanny Jess! We found her on this website 3 years ago when we needed an occasional evening sitter and were immediately impressed with her. Since then, she has watched our two young girls several times. Jess is always punctual and brings wonderful activities for the girls to complete with her.  She is passionate about her job and it shows. Jess is very experienced and able to take on any responsibility that we ask of her. She is very trustworthy, loving, and just wonderful with our children. Our girls adore her (as do we) and ask for her often. We feel so fortunate to have found Nanny Jess!

We hired Jess to watch our 3 children (4 month old, 3 year old, & 5 year old) at my brother's wedding near Lake George.  She was amazing!  I was a little nervous because I had never hired someone directly off care.com and in another location, but it ended up being the best decision!  Jess was very communicative in the days leading up to the event.   She came early, with a whole bag of toys and crafts, and she kept my children entertained and happy for the entire wedding.  She was high energy, responsible, engaging, trustworthy, and FUN - the kids had the absolute best time with her. My husband and I were able to actually relax and enjoy the wedding.  She took initiative -- setting up the baby's temporary room and gathering all my stuff together at the end of the night.  She really did it all - feeding, playing, bathroom breaks, making sure the older two ring bearers were where they needed to be.  I cannot recommend her enough and  I would hire her again in a heartbeat. 

We love Nanny Jess!  New to the area, not knowing a soul, but desperately needing child care, Jessica came through and saved me like a Wonder Woman.  Our infant was immediately comfortable with Jessica and her ample references/experience gave me the comfort that I needed.  She's also great at supplying text/picture updates and brings developmentally appropriate activities with her.  Jessica is GREAT! 

Jessica cared for our children while we were in town for a wedding.  She came highly recommended and I can see why.  Communication from Jessica prior to our stay was exceptional and set my mind at ease.  My children gave her a 10/10 (and that's saying something)!  She came on time prepared with many simple and fun activities for my children.  During the time she was with them she kept me up-to-date with pictures of them -- this helped me to know with complete confidence that they were in good hands and having fun.  She took them swimming, on a walk through town, ensured they ate, and drove them to an off site bowling center -- I had no concerns for my children's safety or well-being.  I strongly recommend her for anyone needing child care!

Jessica recently babysat for us during our week long stay in Lake George and she was amazing.  From the moment she met the kids, she was engaging and fun.  She brought activities and toys for them every day.   She left great notes on a timeline indicating what the kids did while we were gone and took several pictures and sent them to us each day.  We felt so comfortable leaving our kids in her hands.  Also, she kept our rental unit very tidy!  The kids liked her so much and kept asking when she was coming back.  I would highly recommend her!

Jessica has been nanny to our son & daughter for nearly 5 years. It would be impossible to overstate how wonderful the experience has been for our entire family.

It's easy to take the little things for granted when hiring short-term babysitting/child-care.  But when someone works with your children day-in & day-out, they really stand out.  Things like being punctual -- the kids' days are always full of activity (pre-school, soccer, gymnastics, playdates, etc.), and Jess always manages to get them to everything on time and with no drama!

Also, keeping the kids engaged, and keeping things fresh. No matter what season it is, their days are always chock full of interesting activities. Games, craft projects, reading, music, costume parties - we never hear the word 'bored'!

After 5 years of spending their days with her, our kids are polite, smart, confident, and happy -- and we owe a great deal of it to Jessica. Simply cannot recommend her strongly enough.
