About Jared

Hi, I'm Jared! I'm 27, pursuing my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, entering my second year. I graduated in 2021 from UW-Madison with degrees in Psychology and Theatre and Drama. For 4. 5+ years, I've worked as a certified RBT providing ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This taught me to be flexible, patient, and creative in coming up with fun, educational activities for kids of all ages and abilities, and gave me valuable tools for supporting kids through routines and everyday challenges. I currently care for a few families whose kids need after-school and occasional weekend support, and I'm looking to take on more regular daytime work. I don't own a car but am comfortable driving if needed, and I'm happy to help with light household tasks like meal prep and tidying up. I love being part of a child's life and getting to see the world through their eyes. I'd love to get to know your family.
